Lead-Based Paint Hazard Awareness
The City of Cambridge is offering education and awareness regarding lead-based paint hazards. Any residential housing built prior to 1978 may have lead-based paint hazards, with houses built before 1960 highly likely to have lead-based paint. Lead-based paint can create hazards that result in lead poisoning, causing irreversible healthy impacts. Children under the age of six and pregnant women are at an increased risk for lead poisoning.
The City of Cambridge continues to share information to support our residents with lead poisoning safety and prevention. Be sure to click here for more information about Lead Poisoning Prevention.
For more information about upcoming Lead Hazard Awareness Presentations contact the City of Cambridge Housing Department.
