The City of Cambridge recently announced two public meetings, to be held at City Council Chambers located at 305 Gay Street. The meetings are intended to inform the public about ongoing initiatives, discuss new ordinances or text amendments, and introduce new city staff. Each meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
Waterfront Properties (October 29, 2018): The City of Cambridge Planning division invites the public to an open discussion about proposed text amendments to the Unified Development Code and what it means for future waterfront developments, the desire to have them used the city's Form Based Code as opposed to standard zoning, and give future developers more flexibility in their possible projects.

Housing Update and Proposed Text Amendment (October 30, 2018): The City of Cambridge would like to introduce Susan Webb, the new Division Manager for Building and Safety Services, to provide an update on code enforcement initiatives throughout the city. There will also be an update on housing revitalization efforts in the Pine Street Community Historic District, and a proposed text amendment that would allow the "School House Property" on Mills street to redevelop into a previously-approved multi-family development. This amendment would only apply to the School House Property.
