[ARCHIVED] Cambridge Façade Improvement Program

Sustainable Boundary

The Cambridge Façade Improvement Program is now in its seventh year of assisting homeowners and business owners improve the appearance of their buildings to increase property values and enhance curb appeal in the city. 

Eligible projects will be located within the Sustainable Community boundary and have work that significantly improves the appearance of facades and other visible sections of building exteriors. The program offers reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible expenses, not to exceed $7,500.

The program is funded by a Community Legacy grant through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and administered by the City of Cambridge’s office of Economic and Community Development.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but commercial applications and projects showing particular need and community significance can sometimes receive preference.  Applicants are encouraged to confirm their eligibility by contacting the Cambridge Economic and Community Development office at 410-221-6074 or at ced@choosecambridge.com.
