The City of Cambridge will host its fifth Free Family Movie Night on Friday, September 28 and will show the new release of “Solo – A Star Wars Story.” T
he event will take place at the Sailwinds Park Amphitheater, beginning at approximately 8 p.m.
This all-new adventure follows Han Solo into the criminal underworld, where he meets his future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.
Popcorn and drinks will be provided, while supplies last. Parking for the event is available at Governor’s Hall or at the Dorchester County Visitor Center on Rose Hill Place. There are no seats at the natural amphitheater, so attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on.
“We are excited to offer the latest Star Wars anthology film especially so close to the digital release date,” said Brandon Hesson, the Associate Director of Economic Development for the City of Cambridge. “The free movie nights have been really popular and are a great opportunity for the entire family to enjoy an evening out together.”
