The City of Cambridge and Dorchester County partnered to open a recycling center on Leonards Lane recently. The facility is already in use and is located across from the city Department of Public Works Road and Sanitation building at 705 Leonards Lane.

The recycling center was a collaborative effort by City and County governments to address ease of access to recycling for many residents in Cambridge as well as other communities along Hudson Road. Previously, the only other municipal recycling center was located off of Chesapeake Drive, off of the Cambridge Beltway and Route 16.
