[ARCHIVED] Accessibility Awareness Fair

ADA Fair Flyer

The City's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Committee is spearheading an Accessibility Awareness Campaign to encourage business owners, citizens, and city government to make Cambridge fully welcoming and accessible to persons with disabilities.

The Cambridge ADA Committee is hosting its first annual Accessibility Awareness Fair on Saturday Oct. 12 from noon to 4 pm.

The fair will be held in the city lot across from the Bradford House at the corner of Race and Cedar Streets.

The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits discrimination and ensures people with disabilities are provided the same safe and accessible opportunities in schools, transportation, and public places.

There will be vendors relevant to the issues of accessibility and disabilities, but also food, music, entertainment and door prizes... and even a puppet show !
