The Winter Storm Warning issued by NWS Wakefield remains in effect through this evening. The Snow Emergency Plan issued by the Maryland State Police and State Highway went into effect at 1000 hours today.
The weather forecast for snow still remains at 4 – 6 inches for our area which will start later this morning, there has already been some sleet / freezing rain which has fallen and has resulted in slippery travel conditions. We will continue to monitor the weather service and provide updates as needed.
