7-22-22 NOTICE OF SANITARY SEWER OVERFLOWS
As a result of heavy rainfall last evening, the Department of Public Works is reporting that sanitary sewer overflows occurred on Water Street and the end of Oakley Street. The areas of the overflows have been cleaned and overflow reports are being filed with the Maryland Department of the Environment. The public is advised to avoid contact with any standing water in the vicinity of an overflow. There is no threat of contamination of the local drinking water supply.
