Overview
The City Manager is the chief executive officer of the city and head of the administrative branch of the city, and heads one or more departments, and is responsible to the mayor and city commissioners, for the proper administration of all affairs of the city. He serves as the chief personnel officer for the city, which includes all matters regarding human resources.
The City Manager maintains an open door policy. He also has weekend office hours twice a month on Saturdays. Please check the city website for those dates and times.

About
The City Manager, Glenn Steckman is a native Marylander. He was city manager in Nome, Alaska for four and a half years. Glenn has served as manager in communities in PA, DE and RI. In 2000 to 2002 he was a circuit riding manager serving several small towns in Dorchester County.
